{"id":28451,"date":"2025-10-01T10:42:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:42:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nzjz-split.hr\/?p=28451"},"modified":"2025-10-02T08:13:45","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T06:13:45","slug":"svjetski-dan-osteoporoze-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nzjz-split.hr\/en\/svjetski-dan-osteoporoze-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Svjetski dan osteoporoze 2025."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dvadesetog listopada svake godine obilje\u017eava se Svjetski dan osteoporoze kako bi se ukazalo na va\u017enost globalne akcije u pobolj\u0161anju zdravlja kostiju te prevencije prijeloma nastalih zbog osteoporoze. Ovogodi\u0161nja tema glasi: \u201eRecite NE lomljivim kostima\u201c (engl. <em>Say no to fragile bones.<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Osteoporoza \u2013 bolest poroznih i lomljivih kostiju<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osteoporoza je metaboli\u010dka bolest kostiju koja se odlikuje smanjenjem gusto\u0107e kostiju zbog \u010dega one postaju porozne i time sklone lomljenju. U svijetu je osteoporoza rastu\u0107i javnozdravstveni problem jer se nalazi u podlozi prijeloma koji zahva\u0107aju jednu od tri \u017eene i jednog od pet mu\u0161karaca starijih od 50 godina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osteoporoza je sistemska bolest kostiju karakterizirana gubitkom gusto\u0107e kostiju i propadanjem ko\u0161tanog tkiva. Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e se otkrije kad bla\u017ea trauma izazove prijelom kosti ili kad se na rendgenskoj snimci otkriju \u201eprozra\u010dne\u201c, odnosno porozne kosti. To je bolest koja se razvija polako i uglavnom je asimptomatska (ne pokazuje simptome), a ako se pojave to su naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e bolovi u donjem dijelu le\u0111a, gubitak tjelesne visine, pogrbljenost, te naglo nastali prijelomi kostiju nakon naoko lak\u0161ih trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U svijetu svake minute 70 osoba starijih od 55 godina do\u017eivi prijelom kosti zbog osteoporoze, te se procjenjuje kako ih je na godi\u0161njoj razini vi\u0161e od 37 milijuna. Prema podatcima iz 2019. za europsku regiju, procijenjeno je kako ukupno 32 milijuna osoba starijih od 50 godina ima osteoporozu (odnosno 25.5 milijuna \u017eena i 6.5 milijuna mu\u0161karaca).&nbsp; Gotovo 75 % svih prijeloma kuka, kralje\u017enice i distalne podlaktice javlja se u osoba starijih od 65 godina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rizik pojave prijeloma zape\u0161\u0107a, kuka ili kralje\u017enice tijekom \u017eivota procjenjuje se na 30 &#8211; 40 % u razvijenim zemljama, drugim rije\u010dima pribli\u017eava se riziku pojave koronarne sr\u010dane bolesti. Broj prijeloma kostiju uzrokovanih osteoporozom utostru\u010dio se zadnjih 50-tak godina i kod \u017eena i mu\u0161akaraca, kao rezultat starenja populacije. Naj\u010de\u0161\u0107a posljedica osteoporoze je prijelom kuka, kojem vjerojatnost nastanka raste eksponencijalno s dobi, a \u010dije zbrinjavanje uzrokuje velike zdravstvene tro\u0161kove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osteoporoza nije samo vode\u0107i uzrok prijeloma, ve\u0107 se svrstava i me\u0111u bolesti koje oboljele mogu prikovati za krevet i izazvati ozbilje komplikacije, \u0161to za starije osobe mo\u017ee biti pogubno. Zbog mogu\u0107ih posljedica koje osteoporoza ostavlja po zdravlje, prevencija ove bolesti smatra se temeljnom u odr\u017eavanju zdravlja, kvalitete \u017eivota i neovisnosti starije populacije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osteoporoza se dijagnosticira pretragom koja se naziva denzitometrija. Denzitometrija je bezbolna i jednostavna pretraga kojom se mjeri gusto\u0107a kostiju u tijelu u kratkom vremenu. Korisno mo\u017ee biti i rendgensko snimanje, dok ultrazvu\u010dne tehnike ne daju toliko precizne rezultate. Denzitometrija se preporu\u010duje svim \u017eenama starijim od 65 godina, \u017eenama u menopauzi s rizi\u010dnim \u010dimbenicima za nastanak osteoporoze, \u017eenama koje su ve\u0107 imale prijelom te onima koje su na dugotrajnom hormonskom nadomjesnom lije\u010denju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iako mjerenje gusto\u0107e kostiju predstavlja zasad najbolji na\u010din dijagnosticiranja bolesti, na\u017ealost nije idealno za detektiranje osoba pod pove\u0107anim rizikom. Naime, rizik prijeloma mo\u017ee biti visok unato\u010d normalnim nalazima denzitometrije.&nbsp; \u010cimbenici koji doprinose pove\u0107anju rizika prijeloma su:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>\u017divotna dob.<\/em><strong> <\/strong>Vjerojatnost nastanka osteoporoze raste sa \u017eivotnom dobi. Osteoporoza poga\u0111a gotovo polovicu \u017eena starijih od 50 godina, te \u010dak 90 % njih starijih od 75 godina. Nakon 50. godine \u017eivota osteoporozom je zahva\u0107eno i vi\u0161e od 30 % mu\u0161karaca.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>\u017denski spol.<\/em> Kod \u017eena se rizi\u010dni \u010dimbenici odnose na ranu menopauzu, ni\u017eu tjelesnu te\u017einu, smanjenu mi\u0161i\u0107nu masu, izlo\u017eenost poja\u010danim tjelesnim naporima (npr. kod sporta\u0161ica), postojanje anoreksije, neuzimanje hormonalne terapije, a rizik je ve\u0107i i u \u017eena koje nisu ra\u0111ale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Nezdrav \u017eivotni stil s tjelesnom neaktivno\u0161\u0107u i pu\u0161enjem.\u00a0<\/em>Pu\u0161enje i konzumiranje alkohola prestavljaju rizi\u010dne \u010dimbenika nastanka osteoporoze, osobito kod \u017eena u menopauzi. Poja\u010dana tjelesna aktivnost usporava razvoj osteoporoze. Nedostatak kalcija, vitamina D i proteina u prehrani smanjuju gusto\u0107u kostiju, dok isto uzrokuju i ve\u0107e koli\u010dine natrija i vitamina A.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zbog pove\u0107anih razina hormona <em>kortizola <\/em>u depresivnihosoba javlja se pove\u0107an rizik razvoja osteoporoze.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Odre\u0111eni lijekovi.<\/em><strong> <\/strong>Uzimanje kortikosteroidnih lijekova, prevelikih doza tiroidnih hormona, antiepileptika, antacida, kolestiramina, imunomodulatora i drugih lijekova predstavlja rizik za nastanak osteoporoze.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Neizlaganje suncu.<\/em><strong> <\/strong>Manjak vitamina D u ljudi koji izbjegavaju izlaganje suncu tako\u0111er pove\u0107ava rizik osteoporoze.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Genetski \u010dimbenici.<\/em> Istra\u017eivanja su pokazala kako obiteljska povijest prijeloma, kao i vi\u0161e prijeloma kod iste osobe govore u prilog dokaza postojanja gena koji utje\u010de na metabolizam vitamina D i \u010detverostruko pove\u0107ava rizik osteoporoze.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Uzimanje nadomjesne hormonske terapije u \u017eena predstavlja najbolji na\u010din sprje\u010davanja osteoporoze u \u017eena, unato\u010d mogu\u0107im nuspojavama. Specifi\u010dne lijekove za lije\u010denje osteoporoze propisuju lije\u010dnici specijalisti, a kod njihovog uzimanja nu\u017eno je pridr\u017eavati se doze (bisfosfonati, raloksifen, kalcitonin), kao i duljine lije\u010denje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osteoporoza je \u010desto skrivena u podlozi bolnih, iscrpljuju\u0107ih i po \u017eivot opasnih lomova kostiju. Uobi\u010dajeni oblik lomova nastalih osteoporozom su lomovi kuka, kralje\u017enice i zape\u0161\u0107a \/ podlaktice \u2013 vode\u0107i uzroci boli, nemo\u0107i i gubitka kvalitete \u017eivota u starijih osoba. Osobito je va\u017eno \u0161to vi\u0161e od 70 % lomova kralje\u017enice uzrokovanih osteoporozom ostaje nedijagnosticirano, tako da pogo\u0111ene osobe&nbsp; osim kroni\u010dne boli i patnje postaju izlo\u017eene jo\u0161 ve\u0107em riziku nastanka drugih lomova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U prevenciji osteoporoze potrebno je uzimati dovoljno hrane bogate kalcijem (mlijeko i mlije\u010dni proizvodi), a ponekad je potrebno uzimati i dodatke prehrani s kalcijem. Tako\u0111er je potrebno osigurati i primjeren unos vitamina D. Tjelesna aktivnost, odnosno vje\u017ebanje tako\u0111er poma\u017eu u izgradnji kostiju i usporavaju gubitak ko\u0161tanog tkiva. Nepu\u0161enje, umjerena konzumacija alkohola i kofeina tako\u0111er doprinose zdravlju kostiju.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U osoba koje imaju dijagnosticiranu osteoporozu va\u017eno je iskoristiti sve mogu\u0107nosti prevencije prijeloma kostiju. Kako je uglavnom rije\u010d o starijoj populaciji nu\u017eno je provoditi mjere sprje\u010davanja padova:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Kontrola zdravstvenog stanja<\/em> (redovita kontrola vida uz no\u0161enje nao\u010dala, kontroliranje razine \u0161e\u0107era u krvi, kao i krvnog tlaka uz pravilan odabir lijekova \u2013 paziti na nuspojave lijekova poput omaglice, vrtoglavice i sl.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Mjere pobolj\u0161anja \/ odr\u017eavanja stabilnosti<\/em> (polako uspravljanje iz sjede\u0107eg i le\u017ee\u0107eg polo\u017eaja, sjedenje prije uspravljanja, polagano hodanje \u2013 bez \u017eurbe, sitnim koracima, dr\u017eanje za rukohvate prilikom hodanja po stepenicama).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>No\u0161enje udobne obu\u0107e<\/em> (niski, gumeni potplat obu\u0107e &#8211; protuklizni, izbjegavanje natika\u010da).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Prilagodba okoline<\/em> \u2013 pravilno rasporediti namje\u0161taj; ukloniti nepotrebne predmete s poda (elektri\u010dni kablovi, manji komadi namje\u0161taja i sl.); ukloniti tepihe (ili im zalijepiti rubove uz postavljanje protuklizne trake ispod tepiha); postaviti rukohvate s obje strane stepenica i u toaletu (uz kadu i WC \u0161koljku); dobro osvjetljenje (ako postoji mogu\u0107nost \u2013 osvijetliti dio stana i no\u0107u).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prim. mr.
