{"id":29650,"date":"2026-02-27T08:51:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T07:51:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nzjz-split.hr\/?p=29650"},"modified":"2026-02-27T13:21:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T12:21:13","slug":"svjetski-dan-debljine-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nzjz-split.hr\/en\/svjetski-dan-debljine-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Svjetski dan debljine 2026."},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Svjetski dan debljine (pretilosti) obilje\u017eava se svakog 04. o\u017eujka, ujedinjuju\u0107i ljude diljem svijeta kako bi se postiglo ja\u010danje svjesnosti i poticanje na poduzimanje aktivnosti sprje\u010davanja debljine u cilju potrebe za razumijevanjem, prevencijom i lije\u010denjem debljine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ovogodi\u0161nja kampanja usmjerena ja na najranjivije u zajednici &#8211; na\u0161u djecu i \u017eeli potaknuti \u010ditavu svjetsku populaciju (vi\u0161e od 8 milijardi ljudi) na zajedni\u010dko djelovanje u cilju smanjivanja prevalencije ovog javnozdravstvenog izazova. Geslo je kampanje: \u201e8 milijardi razloga za djelovanje na debljinu\u201c (engl. \u201e<em>8 Billion Reasons To Act on Obesity<\/em>\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prema podacima Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (SZO) za 2022. na globalnoj je razini jedna od 8 osoba \u017eivjela s pretilo\u0161\u0107u, a u odnosu na 1990. broj adolescenata s pretilo\u0161\u0107u se u\u010detverostru\u010dio. Iste je godine u svijetu \u017eivjelo 2.5 milijardi odraslih (18 godina i starijh) s prekomjernom tjelesnom te\u017einom (4 3%), od kojih je 890 milijuna bilo pretilo (16 %). SZO navodi kako je iste godine me\u0111u globalnom populacijom djece i mladih u dobi 5 &#8211; 19 godina njih 390 milijuna bilo prekomjerno te\u0161ko, a me\u0111u njima je 160 milijuna bilo pretilo. Zadnji dostupni podaci navode kako je 2024. na globalnoj razini \u017eivjelo ukupno 35 milijuna djece s prekomjernom te\u017einom u dobi manjoj od 5 godina. Na\u017ealost, projekcije pokazuju kako \u0107e do 2035. \u010dak polovica sada\u0161nje svjetske populacije \u017eivjeti s prekomjernom tjelesnom te\u017einom i pretilo\u0161\u0107u.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prekomjerna tjelesna te\u017eina i debljina (pretilost) definirane su kao abnormalna ili pretjerana nakupljanja masti koja predstavljaju rizik za zdravlje.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Za utvr\u0111ivanje pothranjenosti, normalne i prekomjerne tjelesne te\u017eine te debljine (pretilosti) u odraslih osoba oba spola, obi\u010dno se koristimo odre\u0111ivanjem indeksa tjelesne mase (engl. <em>Body Mass Index, <\/em>BMI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; BMI se ra\u010duna tako da tjelesnu masu u kilogramima (kg) podijelimo s kvadratom tjelesne visine izra\u017eene u metrima (m\u00b2). Kod pothranjenih osoba BMI je manji od 18.5, kod normalno uhranjenih nalazi se u rasponu 18.5 &#8211; 24.9. Obi\u010dno se mjere indeksom tjelesne mase (ITM, odnosno engl. BMI), jer je to najjednostavnija metoda mjerenja, iako su druge metode, poput omjera struka i visine koji uzima u obzir ITM, \u00a0puno to\u010dnije.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretilost je bolest nastala me\u0111udjelovanjem vi\u0161e faktora uklju\u010duju\u0107i biolo\u0161ke faktore, mentalno zdravlje, genetske rizike, okoli\u0161, pristup zdravstvenoj skrbi, ali i pristup ultra-prera\u0111enoj hrani. Pretilost nije uvjetovana \u201enedostatkom volje\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretile osobe su pod ve\u0107im rizikom razvijanja kroni\u010dnih nezaraznih bolesti poput dijabetesa, kardiovaskularnih bolesti i odre\u0111enih oblika raka. Pretilost je tako\u0111er i rizik nastanka komplikacija u slu\u010daju zaraze COVID-19.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Izjava \u201cJedi manje, kre\u0107i se vi\u0161e\u201c ne rje\u0161ava debljinu. Ona implicira kako se isklju\u010divo smanjivanjem prehrane i pove\u0107anjem vje\u017ebanja rje\u0161ava problem debljine, ne uzimaju\u0107i u obzir mno\u0161tvo drugih faktora. Samo po sebi vje\u017ebanje ne mo\u017ee zamijeniti lije\u010denje debljine, iako je vrlo bitno kao jedan od uvjeta lije\u010denja debljine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stigma debljine je opasna. U ve\u0107ini zemalja pretile osobe se posramljuju u dru\u0161tvu jer se smatra kako je debljina osobna odgovornost pojedinca, \u0161to mo\u017ee \u0161tetiti mentalnom i fizi\u010dkom zdravlju, te uzrokovati da se pretile osobe uop\u0107e ne javljaju niti tra\u017ee zdravstvenu skrb kako bi lije\u010dile debljinu. Dok god postoji stigma pretilosti u bilo kojem kutku svijeta, treba biti jasno da to nimalo ne poma\u017ee u prihva\u0107anju zdravog \u017eivotnog stila niti u lije\u010denju pretilost, dapa\u010de, samo ga ote\u017eava.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretile se osobe ne smiju posramljivati. Vrlo \u010desto je pretilost izvan kontrole pojedinca, osobito s obzirom na mogu\u0107e biolo\u0161ke i genetske rizike. Okolina bi tako\u0111er trebala biti podr\u017eavaju\u0107a u smislu olak\u0161avanja prihva\u0107anja zdravog stila \u017eivota i ote\u017eavanja pristupa nezdravoj prehrani, \u0161to bi svakako pridonijelo borbi protiv debljine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretilost nije samo pove\u0107ana te\u017eina. Pretilost utje\u010de na cjelokupno zdravlje, stoga svakoj osobi treba biti omogu\u0107eno da \u017eivi u skladu s \u201epo\u017eeljnom te\u017einom\u201c.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretilost vi\u0161e nije bolest bogatih zemalja. Broj osoba s prekomjernom te\u017einom i pretilo\u0161\u0107u ubrzano raste u zemljama s ni\u017eom i srednjom razinom dohotka, gdje se javlja paradoks: istovremeno postoje skupine s prekomjernom te\u017einom i pretilo\u0161\u0107u, ali i skupine pothranjenih osoba. Nu\u017eno je prevenirati pretilost kod siroma\u0161nijih i vulnerabilnijih skupina stanovni\u0161tva.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pretilost u djetinjstvu mora se prevenirati i tretirati. Broj pretile djece udvostru\u010dava se svakih 10 godina, a duboko utje\u010de na dje\u010dje fizi\u010dko zdravlje, dru\u0161tvnu i emocionalnu dobrobit, kao i samopo\u0161tovanje. Pretilost se nadalje povezuje s lo\u0161ijim uspjesima na akademskom planu, kao i ni\u017eom kvalitetom \u017eivota u odrasloj dobi. Pretilost se mo\u017ee nastaviti i u kasnijem \u017eivotu sa svim svojim posljedicama koje donosi, stoga je nu\u017eno educirati i dati podr\u0161ku roditeljima, kao i osigurati adekvatnu prehranu za djecu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prim. mr.
