Međunarodni dan sestrinstva 2024.

Međunarodni dan sestrinstva obilježen je dana 14. svibnja 2024. u gradu Hvaru u organizaciji  Doma zdravlja Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, a uz sudjelovanje djelatnika Nastavnog zavoda za javno zdravstvo Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Petre Tomaš Petrić, dr. med., spec. epidemiologije i Branke Medvidović, dr. med., spec. epidemiologije. Tom prigodom održana je javnozdravstvena akcija tijekom koje se zainteresiranim građanima određivao indeks tjelesne mase te su mjerene vrijednosti krvnog tlaka, razine šećera i kolesterola u krvi. Posebna pozornost posvećena je educiranju i savjetovanju o važnosti odazivanja na Nacionalne preventivne programe ranog otkrivanja raka dojke i debelog crijeva.
